Upper Savannah Care Services Office Staff

Jason Williams

Jason has been employed with Upper Savannah Care Services since August of 2004. He received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia in December of 1997. He is a 2010 graduate of Clemson University with a Master\'s degree in Counselor Education with emphasis on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Previous to his work at USCS, he worked for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s STD/HIV Division as a Disease Intervention Specialist. While with DHEC he was a member of the state-wide Syphilis Outbreak Response Team and also was a member of the workgroup that formulated a standardized manual for Disease Intervention Specialists. He has worked in the STD/HIV field for over 10 years and serves on the statewide Ryan White Part B Peer Review Committee and is a member of the Care and Supports Committee of the South Carolina HIV Planning Council. He is married to the former Amica Smith of Greenwood, SC and they have one son, Jayson Isaiah.

Roslind Anderson

Roslind Anderson has been employed with Upper Savannah Care Services since October 2001. She graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College 1993 with a Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, then graduated from Limestone College in 1995 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Previous work history includes Cherokee Drug and Alcohol of Gaffney SC, New Beginning Teen Center w/ Spartanburg School District 7, Spartanburg Area Mental Health, Community Long Term Care in Spartanburg, SC, Disability and Special Needs Board (Charles Lea Center) Spartanburg, SC She also completed her internship with Spartanburg County Department of Juvenile Justice. She currently serves Laurens and Abbeville clients.

Kimberly Searles

Kimberly graduated from Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, South Carolina wth an Associates Degree in Office Systems Technology. Kimberly also received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Management from Limestone College. In 1999 Kimberly was hired with Leath Correctional Institution as an Administrative Assistant for the Addictions Treatment Unit. In March 2001, she was promoted to Addictions Clinical Counselor. She went on to continue her case management career and experience as a Service Coordinator for the Emerald Center Disabilities and Special Needs in November 2004. She joined USCS in April 2006 as Case Manager for Greenwood and McCormick Counties.

Michael Tiller

Position: Office Manager / Case Manager Assistant

Michael graduated from Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, South Carolina with an Associates Degree in Public Services. Michael has also studied at Lander University with courses focusing in Psychology and Human Relations. After working with Park Seed Company in Purchasing and Inventory Control for the last fifteen years, Michael is excited about returning to his roots in Social Services. Michael has previously worked with the Laurens County Department of Social Services as an Independently Contracted Consultant, and completed an internship at the Department of Juvenile Placement and Aftercare in Laurens. He also has been involved in several community service activities, including serving on the Board of Visitors for Piedmont Technical College for two years and has recently become a board member at the Food Bank in Greenwood. He joined the USCS team in April 2006 as Case Manager Assistant and became Office Manager in August 2006.

Taisha Williams

Taisha graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work in May 2002. Around January 2002 she begain Case Managing HIV clients at Palmetto AIDS Life Support in Columbia, SC. Taisha was offered the opportunity to become a substance abuse clinical counselor at Leath Correctional Institute in Greenwood, SC. During her 2 1/2 years of employment with Leath she realized that her passion was providing case management to the HIV population. After a brief stint at DHEC as a Disease Intervention Specialist Taisha became employed with Upper Savannah Care Services as Lead Case Manager on March 28, 2005. Taisha brings a wealth of knowledge about HIV, prevention of HIV and the latest HIV medications and management alternatives.

Marilyn Cromer

Position: Medical Case Manager

Marilyn is a 2006 graduate of Lander University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Marilyn has previously worked under the Department of Mental Health as a case manager for Newberry, Saluda and Anderson counties. She also completed her internship during her undergrad as a case manager intern with the Laurens County Health Care System. Marilyn is currently enrolled at the University of South Carolina in Columbia where she is pursuing her Masters in Social Work. She joined the USCS staff in September 2007 as a case manager for Edgefield, Saluda and part of Greenwood Counties.

J. Alan Cauley

Position: Medical Case Manager

Alan is a 2004 graduate of The College of Charleston with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Alan has also studied Psychology at The Citadel Graduate College. He has previously worked for the United Way as a counselor for 211/Hotline in Charleston, SC, and as a teaching assistant for special education classes in Greenwood, SC. Alan is currently enrolled at Cambridge College where he is pursuing his Masters in Counseling. He joined the USCS team in June 2009 and will be serving clients in Abbeville, Laurens and Greenwood counties.
